Two New Democrats and one Progressive Conservative are poised to capture seats at Queen's Park that were vacated by five Liberal MPPs, CBC News projects.

The Liberals appear to be holding on to the remaining two electoral districts as votes were tallied in five Ontario ridings tonight.

CBC News is projecting that NDP candidate Percy Hatfield will be elected in Windsor-Tecumseh, after a strong early lead. NDP candidate Peggy Sattler is also projected to win London West tonight.

However, the Liberals' Mitzie Hunter will likely keep the Toronto-area riding of Scarborough-Guildwood as Liberal territory, according to CBC's election Decision Desk. CBC News is also projecting that Liberal candidate John Fraser will succeed McGuinty in holding down Ottawa South.
