5. I went to a Packers game once.

Championship game versus Dallas. Friend had season tickets and said it was going to be too cold for him. It was. Game time was -13 without counting wind chill. Wind felt like about 100mph. I drank a quart of Schnapps and still froze.

I had thought that two winters of US Navy service in North Atlantic and Artic, off the North coast of Russia, would prepare me. It didn't.

But in retrospect, I bet you're damn glad you stuck it out. Great game, but I don't think I would have been able to hack those temps for a whole game, liquor or not. Makes me shiver just to think about it.
