Walker hints that he won’t form state insurance exchange

The decision is pitting Walker between siding with corporate interests or Tea Party interests on the far right of the political spectrum.
Several groups, including the Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce; the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Federation of Independent Business, the Wisconsin Association of Health Plans, the Wisconsin Hospitals Association and the Wisconsin Medical Society, have been urging Walker to form a state-run exchange, rather than leaving it all up to the federal government.

gives the states a choice: 1) Set up their own exchange 2) Partner with the feds on an exchange or 3) Allow the federal government to set up an exchange for the state.

the greedheads and the nutcases.

The greedheads, who remain sufficiently grounded in reality to know when their ox is about to be gored, understand the financial consequences to them of Walker not putting together a plan.

The nutcases, on the other hand…are nutcases. Sadly, the Wisconsin legislature has infestations of both greedheads and nutcases. It's nice to see them get into snarling matches with each other once in a while.

If Walker sets up his own exchange it will be alright, if he doesn't the Obama administration will do a great job I am sure to.
