Related: About this forumSo, I think Thom Hartmann slipped up, yesterday... Online audio?
..He was talking about "Free Speech TV," and online audio resources
like WCPT-FM (Chicago's Progressive Talk) and AM 950 KTNF (St.
Louis Park, Twin Cites AM) and I think he conflated Minneapolis
and Milwaukee, accidently, but he included, "Milwaukee," when he was
naming off existing progresive media sources...
I know there's a station in Madison.... but what other good audio
resources are out there....? I have ear buds at work and end up listening to
a lot of music, plus Archive.Org (books on tape kind of stuff) and old
time radio detective fiction..
If there really is a "liberal talk" program within SE WI tune in range, I'd
like to know about it, though.

(45,274 posts)Two possibilities are WORT in Madison, which I'm sure you know about, and WOJB in Reserve, WI (Hayward area). The latter is a station run at the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, and it's pretty amazing. In particular, they have one interviewer, Eric Schubring, who oughtta be on national media.
Check it out.

(2,354 posts)I checked and that station flipped to all-country music, like, two weeks ago...
Not my favorite kind of music (I'm more into Reggaeton and Hip Hop/RnB), but it's interesting to find out what other folks tune in to, and the range of musical interests.
