I told him Wayne said, at a rally I attended this weekend, that he had/has received $700,000 in grassroots support. That number is growing, and its time for DCCC to recognize this and do something for Wayne Powell.
I compared with attention they're giving John Delaney, challenging Rosoe Bartlett in MD # 6, as Senator Mikulski, Donna Edwards, and President Clinton are making appearances with Delaney, and said (nicely) that I don't appreciate the apparent disparate treatment these candidates are receiving.
I also said that NO ONE in the District likes Cantor, so the chances are pretty good for Wayne Powell there, with a few more ads etc. Virginians can CONFIRM this! PLEASE DO!
