Virginia Poll Just Out, Good News for Dems.- Gov., AG Races, More

- Daily Kos, Aug. 26, 2021.

The Wason Center, which is one of the higher quality polls in Virgina, has just released their latest results. Survey at cnu.edu/...
https://cnu.edu/wasoncenter/surveys/archive/2021-08-26.html

- Bottom lines:

“Former Democratic Governor Terry McAuliffe leads Republican Glenn Youngkin, 50% to 41%, among Virginia likely voters, with 6% undecided.”

“For lieutenant governor, Democrat Hala Ayala leads Republican Winsome Sears, 52% to 42%, with 6% undecided.”

“Seeking a third term, current Attorney General Mark Herring leads Republican Jason Miyares, 53% to 41%, with 6% undecided.”

“Democrats lead Republicans by 7 points among likely voters on the generic ballot test for the House of Delegates, 50% to 43%.”

Looks like Youngkin’s praise of DeSantis and antivaxxers, opposition to abortion and his crazy economic policies are finally backfiring. ~

I know they are just trying to get people fired up to donate in an off-year election. I figured it was probably hype but am glad to see this poll that the situation isn't as dire as the emails make it out to be.

We need to continue to run like the ticket is 10 points down.
