The relieved clerk called 911 while Gaskey pinned the robber to the ground.
She was very grateful, Gaskey said I mean, obviously she was very happy I was there.
Gaskey says he wouldnt have taken as much as a free cup of coffee for his effort.
You dont do this for fame or fortune or anything like that, he said. Its just the right thing to do and thats the reward in itself is the fact that you were able to help someone out.
