Texas School Board Member Sorry For KKK 'White Christmas' Facebook Post

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/hooks-school-board-kkk-christmas-facebook

A Texas school board member apologized after posting an image of a member of the Ku Klux Klan with the caption "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas" to his Facebook page, television station KTAL reported on Monday.

Chris Harris, a board member for the Hooks Independent School District in the town of Hooks, posted two apologies to Facebook after posting the offensive image. After removing the offending post, he maintained in both apologies that he was not "a racist."

You would think if he had any scruples he would resign so he would no longer infect his school district with his name
So I doubt he will resign either

I wondered about that.

I read DI sometimes, and the first thing out of every conservative's mouth is often "Don't call me racist, BUT..." followed by some racist shit. I wonder if they've repeated this so much that they really have brainwashed themselves to not see the racist crap they're actually spewing.

Like this TX twerp. "I'm not racist, I just post racist images on my Facebook page!" Is it a question of a complete and utter lack of self awareness?

Lack of self awareness + lack of any sense of empathy = Recipe for a modern conservative

a statewide leadership conference one time. The speaker, a retired school leader, had a very significant "motto" that he wanted all of us to remember. This was related to anytime someone wanted to "share" concerns with you - perhaps gripes, complaints, or whatever.

So, considering that the person has a concern that must be shared, this motto (that I SO often go back to!) was:

"Remember, anything before the "BUT" is BULLSHIT!"

Really - go back and think about ALL the times you've heard the "BUT!"

Just sayin'...........................

(Although not being from here, I've never studied Texas history or geography).

He would be gone in our school district...before Christmas.

You deserve to be fired from the school board. You and all your fake Christianity. You are a racist Chris, not a Christian, you can't be both.
