"Fix the Debt" tour will be in Raleigh tomorrow - Progress NC needs protest rally participants!

We have just learned that the "Fix the Debt" tour will be in Raleigh early tomorrow afternoon. This tour is part of a coalition of CEOs and major political figures from both political parties who are hoping to avert the fiscal cliff and come to a consensus on how to reduce the deficit. We believe that any plan for reducing the deficit must include a balanced approach to spending cuts and revenue growth, while not placing the burden of paying down the debt on the backs of the middle class. That's why we are calling on Congress to end the Bush era tax cuts for the wealthiest 2% of Americans.

Join us in a rally outside tomorrow's "Fix the Debt" event as we encourage the CEOs to call for an end to the Bush Tax Cuts for the top 2%, bringing their rates back to late 1990's levels (when the economy was booming). With this simple adjustment, we can increase revenues, pay down the national debt faster and make sure everyone shares in the sacrifices ahead.

We hope you will join us for this lunchtime rally. We will provide the signs. All you have to do is show up:

Choose The Middle Class Over Millionaires

Tuesday, November 27th · 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM

500 Fayetteville Street · Raleigh, North Carolina 27601

(In front of the Marriott Hotel in downtown Raleigh)

We'd appreciate it if you would share this invitation with people who live in the area.

Many thanks,
Progress NC Action
