We had our town Democratic convention and I'm running for office...

What's open this year-- town board, assessor, trustee, town justice, highway superintendent. Did I forget something..

Anyway, I'm up for trustee (whatever that is). The curious thing is that the Republican town justice who had the justice job for around 30 years was dropped by the local Republican party for "not being Republican enough." The small fact that he was respected by everyone in town regardless of party made no difference. Nor did the small fact that a judge at any level is supposed to be nonpartisan-- and he was.

So, we got him--he's running with us this year. Whoop! Whoop!
