her husband. I still miss Menino. He had an eye for beauty and culture an the needs of children for fresh air and safe play spaces that few mayors have had in the history of the city. The improvements he made--particularly in underserved neighborhoods--made him friends in what might be considered unlikely places.

Are you resentful of the notice? Not sure why you felt the need to point out the obvious, there....
