1. Florida link - Error. Cannot find the page
|
Then clicked on their link for homepage, and got the same error message. I even clicked on the Florida Board of Elections icon, and nothing happened.
Must be a better link. I wanted to see what was required for absentee ballot, given my first experience votingin Florida last election. I don't trust them. |

2. HockeyMom, if you find a good link, can you please post it?
|
I'm simply reposting the information from OFA. I may have accidentally screwed up the link in reformatting, so you might want to try to copy and paste instead of clicking. Otherwise, if you have the time and inclination, and find a better link, please let the folks at OFA know. Florida is such a battleground, and the deadline to register is fast-approaching.

6. I voted in the primary election on Friday. Tuesday, August 14th is the actual election day.
|
Also renewed my driver's license, and the DMV clerk mentioned that most people check "NO" to being registered to vote. I don't understand how people could be so oblivious to their government. I think that will be an advantage for the Rmoney and Ryan team because many people have never even heard of Ryan. It is also why we have this governor. Only around 8 percent of teachers in my county even voted in the election for governor. Many seem surprised at how bad things are now.

7. When I lived in FL, people checked "No" because they believed it got them out of Jury Duty

It's now picked by drivers license.
