Cherry Blossom Watch update

A small number of trees are just starting to pop. Most of the trees haven’t started yet, but things will start happening quickly now.

Not all the trees are on exactly the same schedule, and the differences in timing from tree to tree are now getting more obvious. If you go hunting, you can find a handful of cherry trees (and other varieties) that are in bloom. More common are trees that have only a small number of flowers starting to come out. Most of the trees don’t yet have flowers out. But each day now more and more trees will start to bloom into the white puffy stage.

And now that we’ve been able to string a few warmer days together, daffodils are starting to come out all over the place, as are the Tulip Magnolias.

The weekend weather is shaping up nicely.

We've still got a few more days, or so, to go. Especially where it's piled up...
