I don't know to what purpose.

It is a very bizarre Western. All familiar characters, but you never know what they will do or what happens next. I did not like what they did with Elam, though.

I'm also a big Longmire fan and saw this video just yesterday. Nothing definite but sounds promising. Also heard a bit on a radio show with Adam Bartley (The Ferg) that said all of the actors from the show are under contract until Feb, so at least they would be available to work on Longmire if they can get something going by then.

I blew through all of the previous seasons on Netflix earlier this year and managed to catch up to season 4 just in time for it's premiere. I like it most of the time. They do have some ups and downs in their story lines imo.

I also thought the latest plot line with Elam was kind of disappointing but his character seemed to be headed for disaster all along. He got to go out with a lot of drama, so good for Common I guess.

The church woman drives me nuts, I have not liked her from the beginning. And the whole scenario with Bohannan and the Mormon girl seemed out of character to me. Mainly him getting involved with someone that young to begin with but oh well.....

I am glad that they will get a final season and hope they can wrap it up with a decent ending. Thanks for the info!
