Could we make a decision to change the rule for dimension of the longest side on contest photos?
We've had a discussion about it from time to time and it seemed like quite a few people were in favor of
changing it to 1000 px --or maybe 1024 px--and yet the last contest specified 800 px. There were several entries in the contest that
didn't comply with that limitation.
Could the group hosts make a decision? Or set up an official poll? Or something? Just to be fair to everyone?

Manhattanbaby: are you willing to take this on and bring it to a conclusion? Any way you want to go about it. I have no special group host power that any other person who has led a contest does not have. I grab the power to ask you to handle it.
I am tired of the question coming up, and not being resolved.

OK. I'm going to do it. Put up a poll, with the reasoning, simple yes/no, majority rules, one week to vote. Any rules change approved will be implemented with
the February Contest, apply to all future monthly contests, as well as the Seasonal Contests.
You are awesome, just like all the photographers who will participate and handle this little thing for good.
