I had just finished reading Imogen Cunningham's "Flora." It inspired me to get out and do more flower and vegetation photos, and more black and white.

(18,219 posts)Actually, I was surprised at the color. Usually I am not a fan of B&W, but sometimes it just works so much better. It did with the birch trees. And Ansel Adams.

The first and second are my next favorites. I like how the weight of the design on the bottom is supported by nothing in the white fade of a background.
The third one - to me - seems to say: Feed me, Seymour.
