In this photo by Rick Rycroft, a rainbow forms over the Harbour Bridge on a wet day in Sydney. The spectacle was visible for about 10 minutes just before the midwinter sun set Wednesday, with a second rainbow showing faintly for a time. In a park overlooking the Australian landmark, people took out phones to snap photos quickly before the image faded.
