Ready for the Owl...

Yes, Seattle is all dressed up in blue and green in preparation for the Superb Owl. Obviously, the Space Needle is the center of attention, but check out how many other skyline features are trimmed in (often shifting or cycling) accents of Seahawks colors. Everything from the tallest-building-on-the-West-Coast Columbia Tower (directly to the right of the Needle) to the arches of CenturyLink Field (near the right edge of the first photo). Unfortunately, this angle doesn't show several office buildings where rooms are lit at night to spell out '12'.

This looked to, possibly, be the last clear night before the Owl, so I was glad I had the opportunity to get these shots, even if the first had to be taken with a backup lens.
