December moon

Looked out the window to see a very bright moon early last evening. Grabbed my camera and went out on the deck to see if I could get a good shot. Not much later, it was totally overcast.

Any comments on which version of the shot you like better? More of the tree? Or less of the tree?

Personally, I like the "more tree" one, but it isn't by much. What I really like is how the moon appears to be held up by the trees branches. Great centering of that moon.

On edit: I think I know why I like the first one better. The trees seem to be fuzzy and out of focus in the last one, but it is not apparent in the first.
