to those 10 years from now. I've been watching Austin grow since 1980 and the city skyline has change immensely.

What did you do exactly to get such strong yellows in those trees? And the black and white have an interesting look to them too, almost the kind of look I've seen IR camera shots. Neat.

i used a nikon d70 with a 590nm IR filter. then using photoshop i swapped the blue and red channels.that gives the trees the yellow look. the b/w ones i took the ir image and used silverfv to turn it to b/w

Nice work! I've seen similar types of photos on the net and this effect often leads lends an interesting fairy tale or extra romantic look to shots.

I love Austin but it has grown so much.
I know growth is usually a good thing but I miss the old quiet Austin that I knew
growing up.
