For a local paper feature.
This also means some street photography, and the area, outside the main drag, has some issues, like gangs and homeless.
Did I mention bad streets?

(18,672 posts)One thing to think about. Maybe handcuff your camera to your wrist. That way they'd have to cut your hand off to steal it, and they probably won't want to do that just for a camera.
Kidding aside, please be careful and maybe avoid the early evening shots. We all want to see the results if you're allowed to post them here. I loved your grafitti pix.
I'm sure you know where to be and where not to be.
On edit:
I hope you won't be alone.

(154,021 posts)We plan on morning shots. The water tower and neighborhood sign will do best with morning light.
Parking it's easier too... And will have to include breakfast shots too. Hey, never done a restaurant review.

(112,612 posts)before you start. I've read recently that some restaurants are prohibiting food photos because of the disruption to the ambiance and because they don't want to get trashed on social media. However, the good restaurants usually are happy to get the free publicity.
Have fun and enjoy your meal.
