Photos. Earlier that week I passed by the graveyard and noticed the agreeable light. I will have to return when there is higher contrast to see what I can capture.

Of course, one of the nation's oldest cemetaries are here in Rochester, Mt. Hope Cemetary.

There are internments that date back to the mid-1700's as well as plots belonging Susan B Anthony, Freddrick Douglass among a host of other civil rights and community organizers...it's a special place.

Autumn is one of my favorite times to visit, in addition to being a very scenic location, the entire cemetary serves host as an arboretum developed by famed architect Fredrick Law Olmstead. There are Copper Beeches that stand 60'-80' in height. Yews and Oaks that pre-date many of the surrounding neighborhoods, it's truely worth a visit on that merit alone...
