I saw that film when it was first released, at an art theater in Detroit. They showed many foreign flicks, and also Walt Disney's Fantasia. Every time I went there, the place was packed.
BTW, The Mark of Zorro is a fun flick. Well worth a viewing.

Actually, quite a good film and very dark. But of course I'd watch anything with Joan Blondell -- what a woman!
