good/cheap software for recording streaming audio online?

I used to have a great program called PolderBits Sound Recorder and Editor but I have not found a version of this program for Windows 10 and I think the guy who created it passed away so they are no longer selling new licenses.

Does anybody here know of a good, cheap EASY solution for recording online audio streams? The great thing about the PolderBits thing was that it was easy...You just hit record and when it's done it pulled up the editor and I could quickly trim the start and end of the recording to specific lengths. My problem with other sound recorders out there is that they are too difficult...I just want something easy, good quality, and hopefully cheap though I am willing to pay.

Thank you!

The company that makes it recommends Windows users check out Total Recorder from High Criteria.

Here's a link:
