It comes to me on a day when my mother is about to pass on here at home, under Hospice auspices and the gentle grace of a morphine pump. Her children here to help her, committed to having at least one of us sitting with her at all times. We're in the middle of a Nor' Easter, but we should be fine even if we lose power. (morphine pump is battery anyway; wood stove in the kitchen for backup heat and cooking if the power goes out)

My turn for a nap, just winding down first... and finding my DU heart made me smile. Thanks!
