22. Though I live in a trailer and the term doesn't offend me, it would be wise to avoid

the term Trailer Trash. If you are aware of the reason Trumpies voted the way they did the number one answer on the board was PISSING OFF LIBERALS! (they almost always scream it)

The reason they want to piss off liberals is because they think that we look down on them.

I say we because I am a Democrat and a Liberal.

However I also own a gun and love Elvis and prefer an old tail-fin car with a big V8 to a Prius. I load trucks for a living in addition to selling on ebay. I think old tractors are cool and prefer rural life to urban. I have the bad taste to think that a Monster truck crushing a foreign car is kinda cool. America isn't Europe and it's low brow entertainment has always been better than it's more upscale rivals: jazz and blues and country and boogie and rock-n-roll and demolition derbies and carnivals and rodeos. People around here prefer the Beverly Hillbillies and Dukes of Hazzard to any trendy current shows.

I know that voting for Republicans is the same as shooting yourself so nobody has to worry about me turning. But the people working hard and living in trailers or dumpy shacks or the ghetto are the people that we really need to be reaching out to and inviting into the Party and away from Trump.

I just think that WE as in Democrats and Liberals and just Americans, need people who load trucks and own guns and love Elvis to UNITE AGAINST DONALD TRUMP. And throwing around the term trailer trash is counterproductive IMO.

I don't mean to single you out or rant about you. This is just information that I think could be helpful in getting our country back.

And Jolson, Boswell Sisters, Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong, Ella Mae Morse; that's for me and if it's high brow then so is Little Richard, the Bobbettes and Jerry Lee Lewis.

It's the stuff that people think is high brow like John Coltrane and Miles Davis that I cannot stand.

The key to look for is pretentiousness. It it's unpretentious, then it's probably low brow and probably really really good. If it's pretentious then people can think that it's high brow and it probably sucks just like the endless series of pointless notes in the most joyless form of jazz.

The best rock-n-roll is low brow and the worst rock music could be considered high brow. Everybody has their own taste and low brow is for sure mine.

If the nose is turned up, at least the music should be able to back up the arrogance.

Opera and classical is fantastic music. I never ever listen to opera or classical but at least I can admit that those folks kick the crap out of even my main man Little Richard. High brow all the way.

The tiny segment of jazz that people think of when they hear the word is in reality not all that far away from other clearly low brow genres.

Turning the nose up with the likes of be-bop jazz from the 1950s or whatever just makes me snicker.

That's the brow scale. If jazz sliced away the 90% that isn't pretentious and left the rest then it would move a few spots closer to classical and away from blues. But not many.
