It is about people who take their business ideas to a panel of venture capitalists. If they like the idea they actually invest their own money in the business. They tried to do the same show in the USA but it failed - you would think it would be the other way around.

There was one British one where they tried to make people live like their Iron Age ancestors, but they had to halt it because the participants couldn't find or grow enough food and the children were getting dangerously ill. It really made you wonder how any early humans survived.

(10,952 posts)it just seems like it is the dumbing down of American society (think of ancient Rome and people going to the Colosseum to watch the gladiators).
If the 1% can get the 99% focused on mind numbing irrelevant shows, the 99% aren't paying too much attention to the continuous movement of the 1% to take control while keeping everyone else in the dirt.
