What is your favourite reality show. I like 'Dragon's Den' on CBC. I haven't seen it much this year.

It is about people who take their business ideas to a panel of venture capitalists. If they like the idea they actually invest their own money in the business. They tried to do the same show in the USA but it failed - you would think it would be the other way around.

some of the items people bring in are ..... quite amusing and some are pretty thought out. they should do follow-up shows to see how the item has succeeded or not.

like those in the past, like "1900 House" or "Frontier House."

There was one British one where they tried to make people live like their Iron Age ancestors, but they had to halt it because the participants couldn't find or grow enough food and the children were getting dangerously ill. It really made you wonder how any early humans survived.

"The Voice" is my current favorite, probably because it's new. The others are getting a little moth-eaten by now.

it just seems like it is the dumbing down of American society (think of ancient Rome and people going to the Colosseum to watch the gladiators).

If the 1% can get the 99% focused on mind numbing irrelevant shows, the 99% aren't paying too much attention to the continuous movement of the 1% to take control while keeping everyone else in the dirt.
