The launch was of a Saturn 5, while the one that blew up was an Atlas.

No doubt deliberately destroyed by the range safety officer, to prevent destroying anything on the ground.

But it is from movie scores and they are not aware of who it is. I've seen two of his "operas," Hydrogen Jukebox and Einstein on the Beach, at the Spoleto Festival in Charleston SC.
