A HERETIC I AM
(24,368 posts)No tank gunner has ever put a round in his head and blown his brains out?
I mean....seriously?

(41,831 posts)is too strong, other wise he would have gone down, long long ago.
A HERETIC I AM
(24,368 posts)And I don't buy it.
I mean, we're spending $800 billion a year on the military and you're telling me they couldn't get a laser guided round through his eye?
I'm sick and tired of this waste in the military if we can't kill one sodding, stupid, lumbering, clumsy, noisy mythical monster.
It really chaps my nostril hairs to think that no one has simply thought of shooting that big dumbass in the eye socket
What is this world coming to?

(41,831 posts)scene where this bad guy shoots SUPERMAN in the eye??? SAME THING!
OH, and after that you will just piss him off...
A HERETIC I AM
(24,368 posts)Somewhat cranky modern T-Rex with a clear disdain for modern architecture.
If you prick him does he not bleed?
If you read him a sad story does he not cry?
If Gamera is under his bed, rocket feety holes at the ready, does he not feel trepidation?
Alas, Godzilla has his weaknesses and they should be exploited with copious amounts of high explosives.

He was a mutant of our Atomic and Hydrogen Bombs. He has become, like Tornadoes and Hurricanes a force of Nature. He can not be stopped. Even that is mentioned in the Latest Godzilla movie.
IF a Tornado or Tsunami comes though a town, what is man to stop it? The idea originally was, at least by the American film company back in 1957, was to call him, GOD-Zilla or God of the Lizards. His real name in Japanese is Gojira.. this means Lizard Whale in Japanese because he was looking like a Lizard and could swim like a whale. He was as much at home in the sea as on the land.
Even the first American film, of Gojira added Raymond Burr and renamed the film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Gojira in Japanese folk lore is a (daikaiju) or HUGE MONSTER. One that defies destruction. Eventually Gojira became the Savior of Japan against other Kaiju... but in the beginning, he was only exacting Nature's Revenge for Man's arrogance for using Atomic weapons.

(8,217 posts)I so wanted that large figurine of his...
I was so tempted to get it and act as if it is a 1:100 scale thing, then make it go off against all my old Gundam models that I have boxed for close to 10 years.

(54,256 posts)Whose shows 'possession'.
I f you had showed just an image of Godzilla's back, 'whose' would be correct if you wanted us to guess whose back it was.
Who's back is what you want here.
Contraction of who is.

(54,256 posts)I flew for Nippon Cargo Airlines for 10 years.
I was part of their start up in 1989.
The very first crews they had.
Unhappily I've forgotten much of the Japanese I learned.
I enjoy your posts here.
