The original 1956 version by Patsy Cline was playing yesterday in a restaurant where I was.

One of those records that just blew me away. What a voice. Then she disappeared. Found out later she was singing for tips in NY City. Finally got to see her when she opened for some famous jazz jazz singer who's name escapes me. Her version of Summer Wind is so beautiful.

She is amazing.

Thanks for posting The Summer Wind.

Ir's fantastic that you were able to catch her preforming a live set.

I am fortunate to have local station(Wext) in cahoots with WXPN. It makes me so sad that everything gets a label, a small pigeon hole to exist in. I can honestly say that I have never heard a Kanye West song. perhaps I will go seek one out. I'll listen and hope to wash my hands and ears of it completely. Going now wish me luck. Feel like I'm going into combat and might not survive. Mean while great artists go unknown. It all about money today. Well here I go.

I'm thinking Kanye may be a computer program with really bad algorithms.
