The semi-annual "Miz t. is leaving me again" thread.

We have an elderly friend, a very close friend, who leaves her home in southern New Hampshire every winter to come south to her snowbird home in our neighborhood.
Oh yeah, did I mention we're as 'elderly' as she is?

Since her husband died a few years ago she doesn't like to make the drive alone.

So every year Miz t. flies to Boston and drives back with her.
And then drives back with her in May and flies home.
She picks up Miz t.'s travel expenses, which is only fair.

I'm not happy with Miz t. being exposed to the hazards of a 1500 mile road trip on interstate highways, but I don't know how to say 'no' to our friend.
