I have an idea that in the case of the priest's death, people who clicked Like merely wanted to let the caretaker know they appreciated having been informed.
I am careful with my Likes on Facebook.

I recognize the name and we went to the same university 17 years apart. Perhaps the pastor of a friend, I know a lot of Catholics from Scranton and CUA is notoriously-hard to get into without a recommendation from clergy.
