What a great day!

It was one of those days where you'll always remember where you were and what you were doing when you got the news. I was at work doing my truck driving gig. I was driving up US 27 in Indiana when I turned on CNN on my satellite radio. There was a reporter at the historic scene of the Stonewall riots giving the news. A very excited man started yelling, "It's about fucking time!" over and over again on the air and they had to make an unplanned cut to a commercial.

was reported in 1993. Earl and I jumped up and down, screaming. I was in a public library when I saw the Windsor case was reported, I wept so hard, a staff member came over. Today I wept, then called my best friend......Go get your license.....I truly never thought I would be included as an American, I never thought this day would come in my lifetime. I was wrong....

After the terrible days we've been through, very healing.

Plus, the sound of exploding rightwingnut heads. That was the icing on the cake.

(online version) and shouted out loud.

I'll probably never forget this moment. My dogs actually started barking at my shout, lol.

(I work 2nd shift, and get up around 10AM). While waiting to go to lunch with the wife, I was browsing DU. I have been smiling since.

I was on a work call. Bored out of my mind, opened facebook on my phone and saw the first post. There was no more paying attention to anything on the all while I read everything and looked at posts from all the happy people!

the IRS office, where I had to go to explain why I don't really owe what they said I did.

While waiting I kept checking the SCOTUS blog on my phone and realized I didn't really know what they were talking about at first. I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't know what SSM meant.

P.S.: I spent about 4 hours total waiting for 3 min. of facetime with a very nice IRS employee and my tax situation is now OK.
