6. I WAS going to watch the Oscars at the local theater.

For the past several years, the local Cinebarre has been showing the Oscars. A friend and I have gone each year. Cinebarre serves food at your seat, so we made an evening of it; dinner and the Oscars. They also had trivia contests during the commercials. It was quite fun.

WELL, wouldn't you just know it, they have stopped doing it. They said it was something about a cease and desist letter from attorneys. Joy-killers.
