we discovered that Budget Truck Rental had a 50% off sale for trucks going
from the south to the northeast. Obviously there had been more trucks going
south over the summer than north!
I suspect there will be another exodus south this summer, so book your rental truck
well in advance!

To a certain extent I'd enjoy this weather, having spent part of my youth in Wisconsin. I'd love the cozy feeling of a full stomach, a roaring fire, a stack of good books, a full smoking pipe, and a glass of Cognac. But if I couldn't afford heat or food, forget it.
