He's the most selfless cat I've ever run across. I wouldn't be surprised if he started barking one day.

Sputnik, and then Thor; "Hammer of the dogs". Both of them had un-catlike 'leadership' qualities like benevolence, humility, magnanimity, heroic courage etc. I still think about them all the time even though they're long gone.
