(27,985 posts)but this is the one I took for my desktop image. I use SCE's pictures exclusively. I am so grateful to him for doing this. I'm sure it's a lot of work but it's clearly a work of love.

(1,408 posts)Our cat Sassy does that to me. She digs her claws into my beard on each side of my face. After a few minutes, if I don't make her go away, she goes to sleep with her nose in my beard. I can't get a picture because if I move to get the camera, or call my wife, she moves.
I did get lucky on this one.
I've been up all night and I'm glad I stayed up to catch this weeks edition. It's a good way to start and end a day.
Thanks.
Now I'll take a nap and be up in time for football.

(1,408 posts)It started almost as soon as she was born. Talking to her siblings and Momma Cat whenever she was awake. She had us worried enough that we called the vet but nothing was wrong. She's just a chatterbox.
She has quieted down some but still gives her brother 'what for' and lets us know if she needs something.
This is her brother JJ doing what he does best. "Supervising" me on the computer.
That is until his sister comes looking for him and if he doesn't pay attention to her, she sits on his head.

(85,373 posts)Sophie, a 2-year-old cat from Oceanside, California, recently set a new record for longest fur on a cat. At its longest point, the fur on her tail measures 10.11 inches.
The title was previously held by Colonel Meow, the Internet-famous cat that was known for his love of scotch and disdain for dogs.
Colonel Meow, who passed away in January, had 9-inch long fur.

What a friend we have in cheeses,
Mozzarella, Cheddar, Swiss!
Bleu and Limberger's sweet breezes
Lingering like a lover's kiss.
Humble milk's apotheosis,
Muenster, Provolone, Brie
Damn cholesterol's thrombosis
Cheese is Gouda stuff by me!
Heed the U. S. Dairy Council,
Keep the Gruyere on the shelf.
Even just a tiny ounce'll
Give you vitamin B-12.
Gather, pilgrims at the deli
Buying Edam and Havarti,
Wedges moist and cold and smelly,
Bring home lots and have a party!

And I want to go outside and make snow kitties. Well, I really don't want to go outside, I'd rather nap. But those snow kitties are a cute idea.
Have a wonderful week, Salmon.

(27,985 posts)You outdid yourself this week. I don't make it here every week, sadly, but when I need a new home page picture, I make a special effort to come to your post. This time, I ended up saving three of the pictures and putting the one about wolves and couches as my current picture.
Thank you so much for making the effort and doing this. It makes my life brighter and I'm sure many others can say the same.
