I think it was a volunteer group. Archie said no, and she basically told him to stuff it. I don't know the name of the episode.

which covers more than one episode.

It is the attempted rape episode. I won't spoil it for those who have not seen it.

edith going through "the change" says: "we're not going to disney world or any other world!"

lol. i remeber that--one of my all-time favorite lines from ANYTHING!

also, the one where gloria lost the baby. "i love you too, daddy" chokes me up every time. all those shows were pretty great.

on edit: i should enter something in the subject line

i think my mom was hysterical--and i never forgot that line. i've seen that particular show a couple times across the years & it always amuses me. i used to quote that line, but my mom was pretty much the only one who "got" it or knew what i was referring to.

do you have all the episodes?

I watched most of the episodes when they aired the first time, and watched many of them again when the show went into syndication.

The link I provided at the top of this OP gets you to a complete list of all the episodes.

Someday, perhaps, I WILL have all the episodes,,,That would be truly awesome!

i've done that with night court & other shows

libraries can get anything. (except st. elsewhere because they weren't all released on dvd)

p.s. i voted. guess for which show.

but I haven't tried ordering episodes of TV shows from other libraries that are linked to mine.

Not a bad idea, thanks.

and I just posted it as one of the options in the poll

Edith has an accident with the car involving a can of cling peaches, and leaves a note for the owner, which doesn't sit well with Archie.

(I think at one point he forbids her from even saying the words "cling peaches&quot
