can't find a good youtube vid yet--but he knocked it out of the park!! to my man Carlos Santana (and son Salvatore)!!

in May of 1969. They hadn't even released their first album yet (the one with the lion's head). I was only 14 but had been playing guitar for a couple of years by then and seeing TWO drummers (full sets) blew me away. And of course nothing can match Carlos' guitar. It's like Mozart; instantly recognizable because nobody else sounds like that.
