I wanted to tell you guys that I have seriously missed you...

I have been a lurker here for many years. I think my only posts were pro Costco...! But I imposed a news blackout on myself (stupid, right?) when a certain event occurred....just couldn't listen to the noise...the propoganda machines. Unfortunately, that included not visiting this site, or not often.

But I have to say, upon checking in tonight, that I have missed some of the people (personalities?) that contribute to this site. And I didn't realize how much....there is such warm intelligence here, and so much serious thought. There is also hilarity and the usual family squabbles. I am grateful to have learned many things here about the world we all live in. I have been inspired by conversations here to research many different and varied subjects; this forum has, and will continue to be, an educational experience for me.

I thank you so very much. It does my heart and soul good to know that you are all out there and awake. There is forever always hope.

I've cut cable, because I don't want to support all the bad organizations that are included with any cable/satellite viewing package. Just cannot do it. What a relief. Anymore I get upset if someone rebroadcasts some RWNJ TV or radio post. I'm not interested. Zero. Murdock and Co can pound sand. I've even blocked Web access to everything related to them that I know of.

The World appears to be a much calmer place without them.
