I hate feeling anxious and not knowing why...

I don't have an actual anxiety disorder or anything, but I'm feeling worried this afternoon and I just can't figure out why. Something is going on in the back of my mind.

Maybe it's just all the bad news and I need to step away from the computer, Facebook, and the news.

Sometimes it's a good idea to step away from the external (that we can't do anything about), and just chill. Have you ever tried to meditate? Works for me when I feel like that. People who are empathetic can get bombarded and it helps to be able to shut it out.

but it is a vicious cycle - the anxiety keeps me from wanting to do anything. Told my doctor, and he just prescribed all the medication I used to take and told me to go back to the original doctor, the one I went to when I had great insurance. Right now I have basic medicare and it won't cover the 300 dollars an hour it will cost, ha ha , great, thanks doc. I know the other doctor will ask me to go to many sessions before she prescribes.

Sometimes, getting involved with something would really help, but because of anxiety or depression or whatever, I just don't want to and then .. .yeah, viscous cycle as you say!
