OK, watching Chrome Underground as I inject saline, antibiotics, saline, and Heparin.

Third time today, tid, three weeks down and three to go.

I am becoming a PICCmeister!

Why? Brain surgery, back in May, then an infection.

No brain was found.

Oh, you do too have a brain! A very good one, I might add.

And you are certainly becoming a PICCmeister!

Good for you.........you have your health in your hands. I know you're being careful...

You. Matter!

I was wondering earlier today if you still mix with the poetry crowd.

Whenever you post your photographic work I wonder if you ever think of setting one of them to words...

Or maybe pictures speak for themselves?

A challenge I might give to students: "Describe in poetry or prose, a short composition to be read to a blind person your age, capturing the essence of a photograph of you've taken or found."

Yeah, I still mix with the poetry crowd. Just tonight a friend asked my advice on making a chapbook; I was happy to oblige her. I took the time to read through the poems I included in mine, and was struck by the creativity I found there.

I haven't tried to set one of my photos to words. I did try that with someone else's photo. It turned out pretty well, according to the folks I showed them to.

I do think anytime you couple two such disparate images, you have the potential for something beautiful and greater than the two works separately.

That's a great challenge!

Be well!

..

Early human A: "Hmmm, none of my grunts are getting through, maybe I'll try drawing a picture"...

Early human B: "They don't see what I'm drawing, maybe I should try grunting"...

Heck, we still see that today!

Off to bed, love to you and yours!

looks like I am going to be doing the same for a couple weeks.

plus some kind of wound care.

do you have an extension so you can hook up yourself or does somebody have to help you?

Can't remember which one, or I imagined it.

The first two weeks my gf was doing it, I stayed at her house and the second week she stayed at mine, but we are kind of independent and I had them add the extensions.

The home health provider said not to use the line locks but after seeing blood creeping back into one of the two lines, and doing a little research, I started using them.

I hope you find it all as easy to do as I did, so far!

Wrapping up the mess of tubing, etc., after each treatment is a nuisance, and it itches a little-- that's the worst of it.

Heal up, you!

IMO: You have a perfectly good brain.
