i miss the good old days of meetups.

i think is would be cool to have any kind of meetup.
but a cruise? like air america did. (damn, still cant believe i didnt grab the chance to cruise with rachel maddow and marc marron. )

i'm not asking if you would buy a ticket, i'm just sayin wouldnt it be fun.

i've only ever been on one cruise, but i have a neighbor that goes on del mcrory's (think i have that right) blues cruise because they are friends.

took a cheap cruise to alaska few years ago. i mostly didn't like the whole "cruise" part of it. a plain boat ride would be fine. but got to go to alaska. it was amazing.

4. hey, there are great lakes cruises. and riverboats.

BIL rented a houseboat and drove it dow the mississippi with the clan. took the city of new orleans home.

it was cheap. helps to know jack about boats, too.

little cruises on lake michigan, too. weekenders.
chicago would be the place for a land based get together without a doubt.

i was a rich lady for a while. cruises and trips were one of the indulgences i approved of, and had a lot of opportunities for.

but there are tons of cheap travel options, especially if enough people get together.
worse comes to worse you can all just camp at moah "yasgur's" place.

15. yeah the stalkers would be a problem, but

at the traditional 1st night democratic celebration of the womb and the mammaries, they always freak out. (not satire. when pressed i remind certain family members that i was a cow, and thus should be worshiped. when someone starts a party with the emblem of the cow, i am so gone.)
they never stick around for the naughty bits.

With a little practice you get into the mindset. And once that happens, you'll find you've created a monster!

One tip: Use web resources to help on a subject. For example, if the subject is cheese, google 'list of cheeses.'

ETA: I encourage beginners because more participation in a pun thread = more fun. If it's only two going back and forth it can be tiring. More participants means more angles and more opportunities--and you don't have to be the one to have to think up a clever comeback to EVERY post. It becomes more of a team effort.
