Methane is not the only energy contained in a fart, so you can't go just by methane. An average fart has 147.29 Joules of total energy. The Little Boy atomic bomb released 6.3×10^13 Joules of energy. Unless my math is off, it would take 427,727,612,194 farts to equal that much energy. The average fart duration is 1.2 seconds. That gives us 513,273,134,633 fart seconds, 8,554,552,244 fart minutes, 142,575,871 fart hours, 5,940,661 fart days, and 16,276 fart years.

Another way to look at it is every person on the planet would have to contribute 53 farts to equal the amount of energy in the Little Boy atomic bomb.
