It looks like Mr. Lymphoma is back and probably a couple of his cancerous friends. My question to my DU friends is this:
If I refuse any treatment other than pain management, will the study of the progress and affects of the cancers be helpful to other patients?

(28,394 posts)Are you saying that treatment is no longer an option? Please discuss this with your family and your doctors. DU is a caring place, but none of us knows you like they do.

... going to be overwhelming at first.
.
I think refusing treatment should be your RIGHT, but only after the most careful of consideration.
.
Talk to your family. Talk to your doctor. Most importantly, talk to ANOTHER doctor/treatment center.

Life is beautiful... even in a diminished life, what WAS insignificant can still be wondrous. This I KNOW.
.
But life can reach an unendurable point. Make SURE you are at that point... and not merely spiritually
tired.
.
Spiritually tired can be healed. You have a support system -- family, caregivers, DU, and almost
certainly others.
.
Vibes going out to you, my friend.
.
I wish peace for you.
