With Christmas coming on Tuesday this is a long holiday break for some.
I have been off since Thursday and won't go back until Thursday.
I am enjoying the time off.

3. For those with low seniority in 24/7 operations, they actually get a holiday off this time
|
Funny to watch all the high seniority ones with saturday/sunday off trying to get christmas off while the newbies have it off anyway.
Me, christmas is on my "monday". Just another workday for me. |

4. Well, I was going to have a 4 day weekend.
|
On Friday, my boss decided he really needed to come into the office today, and that one of the two of us needed to be there. I threw myself on that grenade for the good of the platoon -- my co-worker has two pre-school aged girls and had really counted on having the day off to finish up, and in her cultural tradition they throw a massive midnight dinner after evening Mass, followed by a massive dinner the next day. Poor sweet little thing has her hands full, so I'm happy to do it. My boss is a really nice guy, really overworked, so if it'll help him, good on that front too.
The only real question - red shirt, green tie or green shirt red tie? |
