1. No longer do. When I was in commercial real estate I'd get a ton of gifts from tenants and vendors.

The vast majority of which I had no need/use for. I'd usually give most of the stuff to my staff and donate the rest.

So she got a lot of the candles, bath soaps, nativity scenes etc. from the kids--more than she could use. She would wrap them all up and when she threw a party for the relatives, we would have a white elephant exchange. There was usually one or two good gifts she kept in the fray to make it interesting.
