I found the secret to not ODing on the Halloween Candy I give away each year

I've always hated coconut so I know I won't be snacking on these anytime soon.

Of course buying your candy at the last minute the pickings were pretty slim and there was plenty of Almond Joys left to buy. I went thru 7 bags of them and the last 3 I gave to the local community center for the kids who go there.

1. I gave away bags of tortilla chips.

2. I've given away pretzels one year but since it was a last minute purchase

I took what I could find.

I didn't want to buy the candy before Sandy just incase we did get hit bad and I'd be stuck in a house with all this candy and no one to give it too.

3. I didn't know what to expect at my new address.

The streets were packed with well behaved trick or treaters.
We didn't run out but next year I'll double my supplies including more candy. I did give out Almond Joys and Reese's cups. Having Reese's around is far too tempting for me.
