From his Globe Award-winning role for Best Acting Debut for his work as Billy Bibbitt
in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" (actually his second film), for which he also
received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor:
.
Nurse Ratched: Aren't you ashamed?
Billy: No, I'm not.
(applause from friends]
Nurse Ratched: You know Billy, what worries me is how your mother is going to take this.
Billy: Um, um, well, y-y-y-you d-d-d-don't have to t-t-t-tell her, Miss Ratched.
Nurse Ratched: I don't have to tell her? Your mother and I are old friends. You know that.
Billy: P-p-p-please d-d-don't tell my m-m-m-mother.

Star Trek characters ever -- a serial killer in a society so emotionally and psychologically
healthy that it had no contingency plan for how to deal with a killer... to his role as Doc

not one of those dumbass e on a end guys.

Sorry, but it happens to be my name so I deride the e ending Cochranes.

He had a great turn in Babylon Five too. That was probably the basis for the ST character as they stole everything from B5.

Eddie Redmayne. He's getting bigger rolls and I like his work. Look him up to see what all he has been in. You'd recognize his face, I'm sure, even if you don't recognize his name. I'd post a picture but I'm somewhat technologically challenged and haven't figured out that trick yet.

Here are the movies I've seen him in:
Birdsong - Masterpiece Theater PBS (he had the lead in this one)
My Week with Marilyn
Glorious39 (just saw this a week ago - rented the video)
The Other Bolyn Girl
Elizabeth I
Elizabeth the Golden Age

One of my favorite actors. He was nominated for an Oscar a few years ago.

He wasn't nominated for "The Abyss," which I think is a crime.

But I think he was at his best in "The Hours."
