The top 10 nuisance calls of 2023:

1. To ask for directions home from the Drake concert

2. The traffic light was taking too long to turn green

3. They lost a nose ring down the shower drain

4. Their Airbnb host cancelled their reservation

5. Their Uber Eats order was taking too long

6. A burger joint wouldn’t let them in before opening

7. They couldn’t find their cellphone

8. To complain about a pothole

9. Their McDonald’s order was taking too long

10. The barber gave them a bad haircut

but apparently it's not so common anymore.

I chalk a lot of it up to bad parenting or maybe lack of socialization is a better way to put it. It seems that a ton of folks aren't taught the proper way to behave in public, what is generally acceptable in public & what isn't. That could be cuz their parents are lazy & don't give a shit or it could be that their parents were also not taught how to properly behave in the public sphere.

Then again, maybe we're just sinking to the lowest common denominator, we being the entire species.

Maybe not big ones, say $25 for the first offense, $50 for the second. The provider has a record of the call & the calls are recorded.
